The Institute started with two academic programmes. These ware diploma in art and diploma in law (Sharia and Civil) in the early 1980s, at the temporary site of Zungeru Collage of advanced studies (ZUCAS) Bida.
To provide middle level man power for judiciary, civil service and Teacher Education, charged with the responsibility of moving Niger State and Nigeria to greater heights.
To produce world class institute charged with the responsibilty of providing the requisite 21st century man power that will propel Niger State and Nigeria to the Next Level.

ND is a programme for a two-year course with which the holder can be employed or be offered admission into HND and 200 level course in a university.
OND is a programme for a two-year course with which the holder can be employed or be offered admission into ND and 100 level course in a university.
IJMB is an approved, proven and certified program that guarantees admission into 200 level in various tertiary institutions in Nigeria,
Our certificate programme is a specialized education designed to develop or strengthen knowledge. It builds on your knowledge of a particular career or course.
Our remedial programme is an additional targeted support, concurrent with regular courses, for students who require short-term content and easy admission to ND1 or 100level.
HND is a continuation of a National Diploma (ND-[equivalent to associate degree]) programme. The HND programme have a duration of two years.
Our Staff are aware of what they are doing; they monitor and adjsut their teaching behaviours to bring out the best in their students .
My experience so far is one of pride that I have been able to be apart of my institute. The dedication and hard work that has been put into my two years so far has allowed me to succeed in many ways, as well as increasing my self-development skills. The institute is a great place to study and I would suggest it to anyone.
I had a fantastic time. The staff are lovely, my course mates are too. It was very challenging and although I don’t miss those late library sessions I think it made me a much more stronger law student.
Good educational journey. Good and known lecturers. Definitely this academic year was a great challenge. Knowledge that I gained will definitely help me at my job as a Compliance Executive.
